Rose Allgood
Mrs. Rose Allgood, 72, 805 E. 13th, died in Dukes Hospital in Peru early today. She was visiting her son, Charles, who is in the Air Force, at Bunker Hill Air Force Base in Peru.
Mrs. Allgood was born in Monroe County to James and Elizabeth Geams Dobbs. She was the widow of Charles T. Allgood, who died here in 1960. Mrs. Allgood was a member of the Community Sewing Circle.
Surviving are two sons, Charles, and Leroy, R. 7; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Shields, 805 E. 13th, and Mrs. James Sullivan, Chicago, Ill; two brothers, Edward Dobbs, 814 E. 14th, and Roy Dobbs, Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Iris Dixon, Bloomfield, and Mrs. Nettie Wray, Elkhart, and Mrs. Lillian Swarm, Elkhart; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Allen Chapel with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday after 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rose Allgood, 72, 805 E. 13th St., who died Friday while visiting her son in Peru, Ind.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ronald McIndoo officiating. Mrs. Clara Hittle will play the organ. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dr. R. E. Cook, Earl Cohee, Duward Sites, Robert Skirvin, Robert Jackson and Russell Jackson.
Friends may call at the Allen Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today
