Raymond L. Schwemm, 93, of Crystal Lake, died Wednesday at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.
He was born November 23, 1901 in Algonquin, the son of Wm. and Sophia (Dehmlow) Schwemm. He had seven brothers and two sisters.
He was employed by Crystal Lake School Distict 47 as a custodian for 32 years.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Friday October 13, at the Querhammer Funeral Home in Crystal Lake. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 14, at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Tews offciating. Interment wil be in Union Cemetery, Crystal Lake.
Memorials may be made in the family's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
