Jean Broden, 80, of Springfield died Sunday, April 23, 2006, at her home. She was born June 7, 1925, in Princeton, N.C., the daughter of Wiley T. and Monte Blanche Baker Wellons. She married Donald D. "Don" Broden in 1945; he died in 2005.
Mrs. Broden was a homemaker and member of Cherry Hills Baptist Church and former member of Christian Women's Club.
Survivors: three daughters and a son; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Burdette Capps; two brothers, James W. Wellons and Nelson Wellons.
Services: Cherry Hills Baptist Church. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
