Emma Eran Boutwell, 90, of Liberty, died Aug. 7, 2002, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville.
Services were Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Liberty. Bishop John Steele officiated. Burial was in Blalock Cemetery in Liberty. Brown Funeral Home of Gloster handled arrangements.
Mrs. Boutwell was born May 30, 1912, at Piave in Greene County.She was the daughter of Nathan Alexander McLain and Zylphia Eran Mills McLain.
After retiring from Kellwood Co., she ran a day-care center in her home.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was the last surviving sibling of 11 brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Alfred, her husband of 68 years whom she married on Aug, 5, 1929, in Leakesville.
Mrs. Boutwell was survived by one son, Jerry McLain and wife Marcia of Sandy, Utah; two grandsons, Ryan Nathan McLain of TiffayDraper, Utah, and Christopher Sean McLain and wife Christine of Sandy; one granddaughter, Jennifer Eran McLain of Sandy; and many nieces and nephews.
