B T Epps Dies;
Accidentally Hurt


Little John Edwards Epps, aged 11 months, a son of Mr and Mrs Ben T Epps, Sr, died at a local hospital early Wednesday morning from injuries received when he was accidentally struck by an automobile at the home of his parents on Hill Street late Tuesday. The car was driven by Ben T Epps, Jr.

The funeral will be held at the residence, 892 Hill Street, Thursday at 11 am. Rev D B Nicholson, Baptist minister, will conduct the services. John Burns, Pat Little, R I Bramblett and Elmer Burns will act as pallbearers. Interment will be in the Oconee cemetery, with Bernstein Brothers in charge.

Surviving the baby are his parents Mr and Mrs Ben Epps; two sisters, Evelyn and Virginia; five brothers, Ben Jr, Harry, Charles, George and Douglas Epps, grand parents, Mrs E A Williams and Mr and Mrs Thomas J Epps, six aunts, Mrs Bill McKinnon, Mrs Eugene Thomas, Mrs Roy Epps, Mrs Lewis Blakely, Miss Mozelle Epps, and Mrs Bessie Chandler, three uncles, Carl, Robert and Billie Epps.#
