Alphonso was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on Wednesday, February 1st, 1961, son of Olga Eaton Duncan and Ella Mae Bobbitt Duncan. He had accepted Christ into his life has his Lord and Savior and was a member of the Emmanuel Temple Holiness Church.
Alphonso was survived by his parents, Olga and Ella Mae Duncan; two sons, Alphonso Duncan Jr. and Joshua Duncan and their mother, Gladys; his grandparents, John and Tennie Bobbitt; two sisters, Mary McAdoo and Reatha Johnson; two brothers, Ralph Duncan and Cledis Duncan; a half sister, Ernestine Foster; and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Fox.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 28th, 1997 in the Chapel of the Hoyt G. Hickey & Son Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky with Sister Savanah Brock officiating.
Burial followed in the Monticello Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky.
