MAUDE DANIELS
Maude Daniels, 96, daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Preston) Hutchinson and widow of Henry Daniels, went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, May 3, 2010, while at home with her children at her side.
Mrs. Daniels was born Dec. 3, 1913, in Americas, Ga., and moved to Vineland in 1979 from Philadelphia. Mrs. Daniels was a member of the Mount Pisgah Methodist Church, where she was member of the Mothers Board, Senior Choir and Missionaries. She was also a former board member of the Vineland Public Library. She retired in 1977 after 25 years of employment with Albert Einstein Medical Center of Philadelphia.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Barbara Daniels, Loretta Meyers, Kathryn Daniels, Deirdre McBride, Stanley Daniels and Wanda Paul; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Leonard and Kenneth Daniels.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mount Pisgah Methodist Church, 315 W. Plum St., Vineland, with Pastor Darnell Wise officiating.
Interment will be in the Siloam Cemetery in Vineland.
Relatives and friends may attend a viewing at the church from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053; or to an organization of one's choice.
