Betty Jean (Humble) Eden, 68, a native of Bartlesville died Thursday evening at her home.
Graveside committal rites and prayer services for Mrs. Eden at 10am Monday on the family plot of Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Neekamp Funeral Home.
Mrs. Eden was born in Bartlesville February 27, 1927, to the late Lon and Pearl (Carter) Humble, and attended local schools. She married Pharis Eden in 1942 and they made their home in Ramona. Mrs. Eden returned to Bartlesville to make her home in 1970. She retired from Phillips Petroleum Co in 1988 and continued her home here in retirement.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ramona.
Mrs. Eden is survived by two daughters, Pharis Jean Putnam of Bartlesville, and Judith Rich of Peoria, Arizona; two sons, Bill Richard Eden of Ramona and Elwood Kenneth Eden of Ochelata; two brothers, Bill Humble and Paul Humble both of Bartlesville; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Londo Humble, Clifford Humble and Oliver Humble; a sister Cleta Williams on May 26; and a grandson, Kenneth Eden.
