MARION - Mrs. Lena Odom Ammons, 64, wife of L. B. Ammons, Sr., died Monday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Devotion Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Ammons was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Ham Odom and Mrs. Susie Richardson Odom.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of Marion are, two sons, George Ammons of Monterey, Calif. and L. B. Ammons, Jr. of Marion; a daughter, Mrs. Sherwood James of Marion; a brother, Doc Odom of Marion; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence A. Smith and Mrs. A. D. Ammons; and 9 grandchildren.
