Mrs. Sarah Fly
Mrs. Sarah Fly died at her home in Grove, July 5, 1928, age 71 years.
Deceased was born in McDonald County, MO., near Rocky Comfort, Nov. 16, 1857. She was married on September 28, 1874 to J. B. Fly.
To this union were born three children, two daughters and one son, one daughter having passed on, one surviving, Mrs. Ethel Jordan of Grove, and one brother, J. R. Westfall of Grove.
Deceased had been a resident of Grove for seven years. She was converted early in life and united with the M. E. Church, being a faithful worker.
Deceased made her home with her daughter in Grove.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church, Friday, July 6, conducted by Rev. H. E. Darrow. Interment being in Olympus cemetery.
She was a good and useful woman being held in high esteem by everyone who knew her.
