Darlene Jean Gerszewski, 45, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2009.
The daughter of loving parents, David and Delores (Mozinski) Gerszewski, Darlene was born on November 1, 1964 in Grand Forks, ND. She grew up in Manvel, ND, and attended school K-12 in Oslo, MN. Growing up on the farm, Darlene enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with her brothers and sisters, listening to country music, playing tennis, volleyball, and basketball, and taking walks on the gravel road down to the pond.
Darlene was a very kind hearted woman. She always wanted to make everyone happy and did a very good job at it. She loved spending time with her children; they meant the world to her. She cherished taking her two boys to the arcade to play, and enjoyed going to rummage sales with her daughter. She loved taking pictures of her children, family, and friends. She treasured spending time with family and friends. There was never a dull moment with Darlene; she always made everyone smile.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Amanda; sons, Nicholas and Tyler; parents, David and Delores Gerszewski all of Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Donna (Keith) Poitra, Grand Forks, ND, Diane (Mike) Gerszewski, Emerado, ND; brothers, Danny (Kari) Gerszewski, Darrell (Rob) Gerszewski both of Grand Forks, ND; her best friend, Steve Mero, East Grand Forks, MN and many aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
