Nellie Trujillo Armenta, February 28, 1928 - May 13, 2010. (82), longtime Azusa resident passed away peacefully on May 13, 2010 after a long illness. Nellie was surrounded by her family when she was called to heaven to be with her son, Michael Armenta, who preceded her in death. Nellie was a caring mother to her children Barbara Meza (John), Patricia Mexia, Steve Armenta, Debra Mendez (Steve) and her nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who loved her and brought warmth to her heart as she did theirs.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakdale Mortuary (Chapel), 1401 S. Grand Avenue, Glendora, CA 91740
