Obituary from the Richmond (Ind.) Palladium-Item, Feb. 3, 1997:

Frances Ruth Ball, 91, 701 Fountain Place, died Sunday Feb. 2, 1997 at Caroleton Manor where she had resided since last December. She had been in failing health the last year.
She was born July 17, 1906 in Hancock County to Warren S. and Avis Armstrong Moss.
In 1922, she married Walter H. Walker of Henry County and they lived in New Castle. Mr. Walker died in June 1939.
In 1941, she married Alden F. Ball of Fayette County and they lived there since 1942. Mr. Ball died in November 1979.
She worked at Back's TV Service for eight years before retiring in 1965. She was a member of Park Place Church of God, where she taught Sunday School and was active in the Missionary Society and the music department.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Oakley, Barbara Gengler and Bobbie Walker, all of Connersville; and three sons, Donald R. Walker of Bradenton, Fla., Richard Ball of Lebanon, Ind. and Edward Ball of O'Fallon, Ill.; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Walker; a daughter, Norma Noll; a brother, Harold Moss; a sister, Pauline Crim; and a great-grandson.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Park Place Church of God with the Revs. Steve Stull and Ed Deckard officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery, Morristown, Ind. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Connersville.
