Deceased Name: Brantley Calhoun 'Brad' Cooler -- Bamberg
Mr. Brantley Calhoun "Brad" Cooler, 67, of 1314 Goose Bay Road, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at his residence.
He was born in Jasper County, a son of the late Walter Douglas Cooler and Naomi Ruth Hodge Cooler. He was a member of the Branchville Christian Church where he also served as a deacon, and he was also a Navy Veteran.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m.Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at the Branchville Christian Church with the Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy. 332, between Cope and Norway.
Pallbearers will be the elders and deacons of Branchville Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Wanda Cooler of Bamberg; one son, Brian Craig Cooler of West Columbia; two daughters, Marlaena Michelle Horn of Chesapeake, Va. and Melodie Maureen Hoffman of Florida; two brothers, Harmon Laurence Cooler of Bamberg and Danny Cooler of Jacksonville, Fla.; six sisters, Carrie Carroll of Norway, Nettie Ruth Carrigg, Eula Mae Garrick and Essie Lee Williams of Jacksonville, Fla., Odessa Ann Vaughn and Betty Jean Croft, both of Bamberg; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family has requested no formal visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Branchville Christian Church.
