ELKHART - Evelyn D. Artley, 91 of Elkhart, passed away Friday. Surviving are a son, Richard C. (Dorothy) Artley; four daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Neely, Janice Alwine, Mary (Daniel) Dull and Nancy Albaugh; 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart where services will be held at 11 AM Thursday. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Evelyn is my grandmother. She told me her and her sisters did not have middle names because their mother, Mary Edith Drudge, hated writing out Mary Edith as her name.
