She survives along with four sons, John Jr. of Peoria, James D. of Havana, Joseph M. of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and Jason D. of Castle Rock, Colo.; one sister, Margaret Edwards of Canton; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. One daughter, Reva Rosa, two brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was a machinist at R.G. LeTourneau Co. and WABCO for 35 years, retiring in 1972. He also ran his own candy-making business as well as a commercial cleaning business.
He was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Peoria, Illinois.
He was a generous, loving man to his family, his friends, and his neighbors. Truly a good man.
