Mrs. Cleofas P. Lucero, aged 68 years, life long resident of Santa Fe, died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tony Garcia, 629 Kathryn street. Mrs. Lucero had been ill for the past several months but her death comes as a shock to her many friends here.
Mrs. Lucero is survived by the following family: three daughters, Mrs. Augustin Garcia and Mrs. Tony Garcia of Santa Fe and Mrs. T.R. Montoya of Albuquerque, two sons. Delfino of San Pedro, N.M. and Frank, who is employed at the Boyle Greenhouse.
The body will rest at the home of her daughter on Kathryn street and funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Sayre-Andrew Funeral Home.

Mrs. Patronia L. Garcia, age 46, died at her home, 474 Tenorio street, early this morning.
Mrs. Garcia was stricken suddenly last evening while attending Rosary services for her mother, Mrs. Cleofas P. Lucero, who died the day before.
She is survived by two sons, Esquipula and Genero " Jerry"; also by two daughters, Sofia and Mary; two sisters, Mrs. Marcelina Montoya and Miss Isabella Lucero and two brothers, Delfino and Frank Lucero.
The body was taken to the home of her son, Esquipula, and will rest there until time of the funeral which will be announced later by Bayre-Andrew Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at St. Francis cathedral this morning at 8:30 for Mrs. Cleofas P. Lucero, who died here Tuesday.
Rev. Father Jerome offered mass.
Pallbearers were Augustin Velarde, Pedro Lobato, Louis Jonsen, Frank A. Lucero, Vincente Gutierrez and Leo Varcia.
Interment was in Rosario cemetery under the direction of Sayre-Andrew.
