Mary was born May 28, 1908 in Center Township, Indiana. She wa a graduate of Butler University and Indiana Univesity and taught school at Cloverale and Mooresville. She married Arthur Aandus McKamey December 2, 1931. She died of colon cancer and cardiac arrest March 17, 1977 in the Putnam County Hospital. She was buried March 19, 1977 in Cloverdale Cemetery.
