MY BEAUTIFUL GRANDMOTHER
AGE: 41
Marriage bond: April 10,1897
Whitley Co. Ky.
Cause of Death: flu epidemic "Spanish Flu" that hit the area. She died within a few hours after her 1 year old baby Fannie. Grandpa was out making the funeral arrangements for the baby and when he returned home, she had passed. The dates on the stones say the 8th and the 9th, but it was only a 2 or 3 hour time frame. (This was the story told to me by my aunt Opal which was told to her by my Grandpa)
