EDWIN J. BROWN DIES AT CLARK

RIBGY, May 8--Edwin Jacob Brown, 70, farmer in the Clark area, died Sunday afternoon at his home in Clark of complications following an operation.

He was born October 22, 1885, at Salem, Utah, a son of George and Ellen Hatch Brown. When he was 12, he came with the family to Idaho. As a young man he herded sheep. He was married to Edith Ross, Ririe, November 26, 1906. They farmed in the vicinity of Ririe and Clark. One son preceded him in death.

Survivors include his widow, one son and two daughters: Ernest Brown, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Roy (Lucille) Cleverley, Terreton; Mrs. Arthur (Louise) Noreen, Rigby; also grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. J. A. Johannesen and a brother, William Brown, Rigby.

In his early life he was active in LDS Church work.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Eckersell Funeral Home with Bishop Duane Foster, Clark, officiating. Burail will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of the Eckersell Funeral Home.

FUNERAL EDWIN JACOB BROWN

RIGBY, May 15--Funeral services for Edwin Jacob Brown, who died May 6, were held at the Eckersell Funeral Home with Bishop Dewain C. Foster conducting.

Musical numbers included song, Zoe Rolfe and Marie Telley; vocal solo, Leo Parker.

Jay E. Radford gave the invocation; Zelpha Killian, life sketch; Bishop Elmer E. Walters and Leon Jensen, speakers: Irwin Keller, benediction.

Interment was in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of the Eckersell Funeral Home with Julius Johannesen giving the dedicatory prayer.

Pallbeares were LeRoy Cleverley, Bill Brown, Dale Noreen, Edward Brown, LaMond Radford, LaVerl Noreen.

Flowers were cared for by the Clark LDS Ward Relief Society.
