Major League Baseball Player. He was a catcher, making his debut with the Cleveland Indians on September 3, 1934. For seven season, he played mostly in reserve with the Cleveland Indians (1934-35), Chicago Cubs (1937-39), Philidelphia Athletics in 1944 and Boston Red Sox in 1945. He finished his career with a record of 81 hits, 31 runs scored, 28 runs batted in, a .248 batting average and a excellent .996 fielding percentage.
