Funeral services for Emma Weber Abraham, 91, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in First Pentacostal Church in Jennings with Rev. James Townley officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and will continue from 8 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday.
Mrs. Abraham passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Mrs. Abraham was born in New Roads to the late Bernard "Ben" and Villa Webre. She was a homemaker who loved her church, baking, and cooking. She enjoyed babysitting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Harold Landry of Jennings; her grandchildren, Dwynn (Linda) Landry, Terri Landry, Regina L. (Charles) Hebert, Cody (Kim) Landry, Heidi Landry and Addison Landry; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Willie Abraham; two sisters; and two brothers.
