Wallace E. Paul, 76, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas.
He was born on January 28, 1934 in Malvern, Arkansas to Jim Paul, Jr. and Lou Etta Wallis Paul.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from August 1953 – August 27, 1961. He married Katie Lou Smith on January 18, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He moved to Bella Vista in 1978 from Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a Life Member of the B.V. Post 9063 VFW, received his 50 year Pin for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and received a Certificate of Recognition for 60 years as a volunteer Church Pianist.
Katie preceded him in death on January 1, 2005. He married Dorothea Sherwood on March 29, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katie, and sister, Maxine Knight.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothea Paul of Bella Vista; Arkansas; two sons, Donald James Paul and wife Terri of Bentonville, Arkansas, William Earl Paul of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, William Morgan Paul of Hutchinson, Kansas, James Roy Paul of Bossier City, Louisiana; one sister, Helen Marie Lincks of Malvern, Arkansas; four grandchildren, John Paul, Stephen Paul, Zachary Paul and Gabriel Paul.
Graveside Service was at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Bella Vista Cemetery with Military Honors by the Bella Vista Honor Guard. A Memorial Service was at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas.
