Kathleen S. Gury, 88, of 630 Brenton St., Shippensburg, died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born on Feb. 29, 1920, in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late William M. and Sidney Hammond Fuller, and the widow of Jay S. Gury, who died on Oct. 6, 1996.
Kathleen assisted her husband, Jay, in the operation of Barnhart's Wallpaper and Paint, formerly of Chambersburg.
She was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God, the Shippensburg Civic Club, and the Shippensburg Historical Society.
She is survived by two brothers, Guy J. (and wife, Evelyn) Fuller of Shippensburg and Mearns Fuller, Severn, Md.; five nieces, and a nephew. She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Fuller and a brother, Herbert Fuller.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, in Spring Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Paul K. Hauk will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shippenburg Historical Society, 52 W. King St., Shippensburg, PA 17257 or to the Shippensburg Civic Club, P.O. Box 593, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
