Mrs. Alice E. Arter, 66, wife of Lester V. Arter, 434 ½ S. Franklin St.,
Hanover, died at 7:15 Friday night at the Longview Nursing Home, Manchester, Md.
She was a daughter of the late William and Lillie (Bish) Warehime, and had
resides in Cleveland, O. for many years. She and her husband returned to the
area about a year ago.
Her husband is the only survivor.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Cleveland, O., the ladies Aid
society of that church.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 from the Little's Funeral
Home, Littlestown, with the Rev. Robert C. Camac officiating. Interment will be
in Krider's Cemetery, near Westminster. Friends may call at the funeral home in
Littlestown Sunday evening.
