The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.

DOVER—Marie A. (Tolbert) Ahrens, 77, of Dover Township, died at 230 am. Tuesday at her home.
The service will be 10 a m. Saturday at Zion Mennonite Church, 1550 East St, York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home Inc, 849 E Market St, York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ahrens was born April 26, 1923, in Fayetteville, Franklin County. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna (Miller) Tolbert.
She was a custodian at Leib Elementary School in Dover, retiring after 20 years of service. She was a member of Zion Mennonite Church.
Mrs. Ahrens is survived by two daughters, Linda L. Grove of Dover and Patsy M. Ryan of Wellsville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Tolbert of York and George Tolbert of Dover; and a sister, Viola Davis of Ocala, Fla.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Benjamin J. Woodring.
