W. W. "Bud Pugh, 73, of Columbia died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Boone Hospital Center. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Parker Funeral Service with the Rev. Michael Keith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at the funeral home.
Mr. Pugh was born November 1, 1925, in Columbia to William and Maggie Kanatzar Pugh. He married (Private) in Leavenworth, Kan., and she survives.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Wilkes Boulevard United Methodist Church. He was a carpenter and master builder. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign War, American Legion and Carpenters Local for 23 years.
Survivors also include four daughters, and a son, three sisters Alverdia Hawkins and Marie Williams, both of Columbia, and (Private), 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a daughter.
Memorial are suggested to Wilkes Boulevard United Methodist Church, 702 Wilkes Blvd., Columbia, Mo., 65201
As of 2010, I do not have the daughter's name that preceded him in death.
