Thomas Luellyn Albright, age 58, of Centerville, Iowa, died Thursday, August 25, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. He was born the son of the late Eugene Albright and Elizabeth(Temple)Albright on November 18, 1946 in Centerville, Iowa. He attended Centerville Schools until the age of 17, then joined the United States Navy, where he received hi GED while serving in the military.

Tom served aboard several ships most of his Navy career and enjoyed traveling to different parts of the world while serving his country. He retired from the Navy after 21 years (1964-1985) with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3. After retirement, Tom returned to the Centerville area and the simple farm life, which he loved. He also dabbled in several small self-owned businesses while his health permitted it. He loved playing golf, fishing, hunting and visiting with family and friends. Tom lived life to the fullest until his health started to fail. He enjoyed several reunions with his previous shipmates and enjoyed corresponding with many via the internet. Tom recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized on August 11, 2005 at Mercy Hospital by Pastor Vickie Steffes of the Seymour United Methodist Church. He was a member and past president of the local Eagle's Fraternity, a member of the Appanoose Country Club, and a member of the American Assoiation of Retired Veterans. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother, and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

In 1966, Tom was united in marriage to Sue Byers. To this union, a daughter was born. They later divorced. In 1973, he fathered a son with Barbara Cannon-Argo. In 1977, he married Linda Milburn and had the privilege of helping raise her three children, as well as having a son together. They later divorced. He married Patricia Sadaro on May 26, 2000 in Centerville, Iowa.

Tom was preceded in death by: his maternal and paternal grandparents; his father; sister Jackie Nichols; and very special boyhood friend, Larry Adams.

He is survived by: his wife, Patricia Albright, of Centerville, Iowa; loving mother Elizabeth Albright of Exline, Iowa; brother Robert Albright and his wife, Sandra, of Onawa, Iowa; brothr-in-law George Nichols of Marshalltown, Iowa; sisters Beverly Shultz of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Ellen Bell-Cornell and her husband, Donald, of Bullhead City, Arizona; and Cheryl Lord and her husband, Bill, of Seymour, Iowa. Also surviving are his three children: Tammy Traina and her husband, Troy, of Land O'Lakes, Florida; Thomas Argo and his wife, Robin, of Whitwell, Tennessee; and Larry E. Albright of Centerville, Iowa; five step-children: Jody Milburn and his wife, Christine, Of Albia, Iowa; Dathy Milburn of Centerville, Iowa; Sari Wagner and her husband, Tim, of Des Moines, Iowa; Scott Sadaro and hsi wife, Kristy, of Raymore, Missouri; and Sally Sadaro of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren and six step-grandchildren, all whom he loved very much.

The body has been cremated. A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 10 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Vickie Steffes officiating. Following the memorial service, a graveside military service will be held at the Avenue of Flags at Oakland Cemetery in Centerville, Iowa.

Memorials can be made to the VFW Post 526 in Centerville, Iowa.
