There was a Daniel Bradford who operated the Kentucky Gazette Newspaper and had an office in town early Lexington. A Daniel Bradford was also the first Captain of the Union Fire Department 1790 in the town. He was listed in 1810 census - occupation printer also had a small bookstore at the same location later taken over by his brother Fielding from 1807 to 1815-16. This is under study as of this writing.

Daniel Bradford
In the book The Old Episcopal Burying Ground it list Daniel on page 26.

There is a death date of 1851, and states he is the son of John, editor of Kentucky Gazette, mayor of Lexington, married Elizabeth Russell.
This info was taken from the original deed.

Ellizabeth P James Bradford, died 12 Oct 1833, no other info; her death was during the first big cholera epidemic in Lexington.

Also listed, is John Russell Bradford, died 19 April 1835; son of Wm P and Agnes Bradford.

John V Bradford died 21 Aug 1824; son of Daniel; artist; first buried Christ Church Cem, then moved to OEBG.

Maria Bradford died 1 May 1827; granddaughter of John; first buried Christ CHurch Cem, then moved to OEBG.

Caroline Harrison Bradford, born 5 Sep 1825; died 16 June 1837; daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth P
