Novella Morton Dukelow, 92, died Dec. 20, 2005, at Dillon's Living Center, Hutchinson.
She was born July 9, 1913, in Mitchell, the daughter of H.C. and Maude Morton.
She graduated from Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson Junior College and Kansas
State College with a B.A. in journalism. She wrote a column for The Hutchinson News Herald called Cynthia's Corner.
She was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
On Sept. 3, 1938, she married John R. Dukelow. He survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Nancy; and a sister, Clydene Morton.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilmer, Carrol, Dwight and Harry Clyde Morton Jr.; and three sisters, Iris Briggs, Wanda Solberg and Phyllis Bixler.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday Dec. 29, 2005, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.
