Marjorie was a native of Beaumont and had lived in the Winnie area since 1961.
She worked as a teacher's aid for East Chambers Independent School District before retiring.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Terry Barton and his wife Eunice; daughter, Carol Gentz and her husband, James; son-in-law, Lester Fontenot; three grandsons; five granddaughters; sister, Lucille French; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and members of the Open Door Sunday School Class.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mabel Reynolds; husband, John Charles Barton; daughters, Judy Trammell and Frances Fontenot; brother, George Reynolds; sister, Loretta Reynolds and great-grandchildren, Connor and Zachary Davis.
