Floyd T. Chadwick Battle Creek Rev. Floyd T. Chadwick, 86, of Battle Creek, Michigan, peacefully went home to be with his Savior on Monday, May 3, 2010, at his residence surrounded by his family. Floyd was born on March 10, 1924 in Dayton, Tennessee to the late Virgil and Birdie (Couch) Chadwick. On December 28, 1946 Floyd married Imogene Parrott at a ceremony in Rossville, Georgia. Floyd retired after many years with Priest Tool and Die Manufacturing where he was a machine operator. He was a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church and preached for over 50 years. Floyd was a loyal and dedicated member of The Potter's House Church in Battle Creek. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his family, gardening and mowing lawns. Floyd was also a gifted musician and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary Agnes Hancock and six brothers; Creed, Lloyd, Arthur, Earl, Ralph and Hollis Chadwick. Floyd is survived by his wife Imogene Chadwick of Battle Creek, a son Jerry (Lisa) Chadwick of Battle Creek, a daughter Brenda Harley of Battle Creek, a brother Luther (Alma) Chadwick of Cookeville, Tennessee, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 6 o'clock in the evening at The Potter's House Church in Battle Creek with a time of visitation beginning two hours prior. Memorial contributions may be made in Floyd's memory to The Potters House Church 226 Capital Ave. N.E., Battle Creek, Michigan 49015.
