Ensign B. Lee, USNRF, was designated Naval Aviator #137 in 1917.

Reported to have been the first to loop a twin-engine Curtiss flying boat, Killingholme, England. Killed in the crash of his seaplane, into the Humber River, near Killingholme. Received the Navy Cross (posthumously) for his efforts as a seaplane pilot while patrollong the waters of the War Zone.

Lee Field, an auxiliary airfield at NAS Jacksonville, Fla. was named in his honor.
