Edward "Bill" Ivan Bowman of Banning, 79, died July 20 in Redlands.
Mr Bowman was a native of Riverside, Kansas, and had lived in Banning for 14 years. He was owner/operator of Bill's Plumbing and Sanitation in Indio for 34 years. He was a member of Elks Lodge in Indio and Odd Fellows in Beaumont.
He is survived by two sons, John S Bowman of Indio and Jon Bowman of Carmel; one daughter , Dorie M Duranceau-Sellers of Yucaipa; one sister, Fern Harlan of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren, Nicole Duranceau of Yucaipa; Michael Bowman of Indio; Jennifer Bowman and Brian Bowman, both of Carmel and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held July 24 at Desert Lawn Cemetery, Calimesa. Hughes Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
