______________

Justin Kyle Phillips was born to Janey Lee Phillips on September 23, 1983 in Tahlequah Oklahoma. He passed on May 1, 2010 in Vian, Oklahoma t the age of 26 years. Justin was raised in the Burnt Cabin area surrounded by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Justin brought great joy to the family, especially his mother whom he loved very much. As a baby it was obvious that he and his papa Andrew had a very special bond, Justin was often referred to as the "Spark Plug" to papa's old truck because it wouldn't go anywhere with out him in it. He also loved his granny, Vinnie. He would tell her she was the best cook in the world and loved her Chicken and Dumplings. Many good things happened in his life before his papa passed away, he was only two, but he could recall things they did as if it all just happened yesterday and remembered it very clearly. In the late 90's his mother Janie would marry her teenage sweetheart, Jerry Lee. This union would give Justin someone he could call Dad. Jerry loved and raised Justin as if he were his own and Justin loved him for that. Justin graduated 8th grade from Keys Middle School in 1999 and would then attend High School at Vian, Oklahoma. He would often work with the local farmers and ranchers around the Vian area, whether it was building fence, working cows or hauling hay, he loved it and had the hopes of having his own ranch someday. At his passing he was working in the construction business and very proud of his job. Those proceeding Justin in death are his papa, Andrew Phillips; his dad, Jerry Lee; his uncles, Andy and Wiley Phillips and his very special aunt Alice Phillips. Those left to morn him are his mother, Janie Lee of Tahlequah, formally of Vian; his granny, Vinnie Candy of Tahlequah; Aunt Brenda Brixey of Park Hill, Aunt Sue Ann and Uncle Mike Maxey of Burnt Cabin. He also leaves behind all his cousins who loved him dearly, Kevin Phillips of Tahlequah, Shannon Caughman and her husband Roy of Braggs, Sarah Phillips of Tahlequah and Marcy Polson and husband Chris of Virginia, Tracy Thompson of Park Hill, Matt Thompson and wife Andrea, Lacie Dale and husband Zach, Blake and Logan Maxey of Burnt Cabin, two special aunts Marie Kelley and Donna McIntosh. He also leaves many extended aunts, uncles and cousins and many, many friends. We will miss you Bub, until we meet again.
