THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, October 10, 2000: “Ruby Mae Crouch, 91, of Paris died at 3:55 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Fortner officiating. Burial will be Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Crouch was born Jan. 11, 1909, in Stamford, the seventh of nine children of William and Annie Saunders. She was a longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church in Clovis, N.M. and Paris. She married Dick Crouch Dec. 6, 1926. They had three children. Surviving are a sister, Ruth Russell of Seattle; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Donna Crouch of Las Cruces, N.M.; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Aaron Bussell of Arlington; a daughter, Jean Burns of Paris; grandchildren, Tom Baxley of Pine Bluff, Ark., Ted and Chris Baxley of Lewisville, Kelly and Cindy Baxley of Carrollton; Lance and Kathleen Bussell of Dallas; Rene and David Harms of Fort Worth, Wade Bussell of Arlington, Randy Crouch of Las Cruces, N.M., and Greg and Mary Crouch of Washington, D.C.; and seven great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Baxley, Dekota Crouch, Laura Estrada, Austin Estrada, Audrey Estrada, Jody Fielder and Nathan Lindsey. She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.”
