Mr. Robert "Bob" Miller, 87 of Jacksonville, Ala., formerly of Knox County, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 1998 in Jacksonville Hospital.

He was the son of the late Joseph Miller and Amanda Shelton Miller.

He was retired from Wiser Oil Co. He was a member of the Masons, the Gideons, and the Oleika Temple in Lexington, and the Keck Baptis Church.

On August 19, 1933 he united in marriage to Maude Carroll.

Survivors include his wife Maude Miller; two daughters Barbara Dawson and husband Charles of Greenville, Tenn., Judy Martel and husband George of Jacksonville, Ala., four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Keck Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 23. at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Damon Helton officiating.

Burial followed in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin.

Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations go to the Keck Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Miller.
