She married Eugene Andrew Goetz on Sept. 23, 1941, in Catharine. He preceded her in death July 29, 1988.
She worked as a waitress at the Brunswick Cafe and at the Holiday Inn. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Hays.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Goetz and wife, Mary, Pocatello, Idaho; a daughter, Judy Berens, Hays; two brothers, Walter Staab and Matt Staab, both of Hays; five grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Patricia, Catherine and Bill; and two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Jacob.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Hays; burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Munjor. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, both at Brock's North Hill Chapel 2509 Vine, Hays. A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today, followed by a rosary at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Hays Good Samaritan Center, or Masses in care of the funeral home.
