Funeral services for Pearl Eva Creel Woodham age 104 of Phenix City, AL will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Fredericks Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Hubert Whitten officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Mt. Enon Cemetery in Edwin, Alabama, at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Woodham was born on May 13, 1901 in Barbour County, Alabama where she spent most of her life. She was the daughter of James Daniel and Maggie Zorn Creel. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Dewit "Gene" Woodham and a son, James Robert Woodham, Sr.
Mrs. Woodham was a homemaker and loved to quilt. Her family and friends have treasured their gifts of her handiwork for many years.
Mrs. Woodham is survived by her son Jack M. (Leola) Woodham, Sr. of Fortson, GA; a daughter, Mellie Louise Simmons of Opelika; a daughter-in-law, Katherine A. Woodham of Warner Robbins, GA; eight grandchildren, Beverly (Mark) Rosson of Baker, FL, Katherine (Keith) Hicks of Atlanta, GA, James Robert (Diane) Woodham, Jr. of Bryon, GA, Judith (Kenneth) Jones of Lumberton, NC, Jack M. (Lana) Woodham, Jr. of Cataula, GA, Donna (Mike) Griffin of LaFayette, AL, Martha Patterson of Auburn, Paula (Terry) Cross of Opelika; sixteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and her brother, Marion Creel of Andalusia.
Fredericks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
