Mrs Doris Edessa Deal, 67, passed away Saturday night at 11:30 at the Peat Deal Ranch, her son's home, after a lengthy illness. She made her home at 206 Market street in Lander.
She was born November 25, 1898, at Esbon, Kansas, daughter of William and Unis Lattimer.
She and Oscar Deal were married December 31, 1920 in Lander. Mrs. Deal has lived in Lander for 45 years.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Hudson's Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Stanley Fixter of First Methodist Church in Riverton will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Deal is survived by her children, Robert W. Deal of Riverton, Ruth Moore of Rawlings, Lloyd (Pete) Deal of Lander and James Deal of Laramie.
Also surviving are brothers James Lattimer, Lloyd and Claude Lattimer of Burley, Idaho, Art Lattimer of Montrose, Minnesota and Lou Lattimer of Riverton.
One sister, Ethel McMain of Lebonon, Oregon and 16 also survive. Two sisters, four brothers, and 2 children preceded her in death.
