She was born on September 11, 1926 in Aniwa.
On December 6, 1947, she was united in marriage to Bennie A. Schultz in Aniwa. He survives.
Betty was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Aniwa. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, baking and feeding the birds. She loved animals but especially loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Bennie, she is survived by three children, Nancy (Terry) Jarchow, Aniwa, Susan (Norbert) Hetzel, Birnamwood and Wayne (Kathy) Schultz, Antigo; eight grandchildren, Tammi, Bryan, Amanda, Chris, Nick, Ashley, Salena and Jolene and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Rev. Dean Bertsch, Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Birnamwood will officiate. Inurnment will be in Union Cemetery at a later date. The visitation will be from 9:00am until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
