Hildred L. Angstead

Hildred L. Angstead, 95, of 507 South E. St., died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 1999, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

Graveside funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. William Rathbun officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to First Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Angstead was born June 1, 1903, at Lancaster, Mo. the daughter of William C. and Jenny (sic. Jennie) Myrtle Sagerty Bonnett. She married J. Paul "Bud" Angstead Jan. 17, 1924, in Ottumwa. He died Oct. 22, 1983.

She grew up in Libertyville and graduated from Libertyville High School. She lived her entire life in the Libertyville and Fairfield communities. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Jean Gohn of Fairfield; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jack; one brother, Ralph Bonnett; and one sister in childhood.
