Doris E. Petro Dehne, 69, of Decatur passed away 4:40 a.m. Sunday (Jan 19, 2003) in her home.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Doris was born Aug. 27, 1933, in Springfield, the daughter of George J. and Alice Marie Eddy Smith. She retired as a Bell Telephone long-distance operator. She married Thomas Dehne in 1982 in Las Vagas, Nev.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Charles and Tim, both of Decatur; Terry of Phoenix, Ariz., daughter; Tammy of Phoeniz; stepdaughters, Dawn of Texas; Wendy of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sisters, Verna and husband Howard of Decatur; Carol of Phoenix; brother, Edward and wife Vickie of Warrensburg; 10 grandchildren, two stepgrand-children and six great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant sister and daughter, Tina.
