She was born in Portland, a daughter of Lemuel and Alice McDuffie Soule, and was a 1953 graduate of Deering High School.
Mrs. Coburn worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Mercy Hospital and the South Portland Nursing Home.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Roland N. Coburn; her mother of Portland; two daughters, Deborah A. Hilton of Livermore Falls and Jessica G. Coburn of Scarborough; three sons, Greg S. and James L. Coburn, both of Waterboro, and Roland N. Coburn III of Poland; two sisters, Beverly A. Tiszkus of Turnersville, N.J., and Valerie J. Norton of Portland; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland.
