Mrs. Williams was born September 18, 1908 in Berryville, VA., the daughter of the late Beverly Williams and Rosanna Brooks Williams. She was a life long and faithful member of St. Luke Baptist Church. She was a member of the Missionary Society, and choir director and organist for over 50 years.
She was married to Moses Williams who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters; Elizabeth W. Jennings of Richmond, VA., and Rosanna W. Rayford of Nashville, TN.; one devoted sister Virginia S. Williams of Berryville, VA.; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Rosa C. Jackson, Minerva Miller, and Helen Reynolds; three brothers, Richard Williams, Robert Williams, and Beverly Williams all preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 pm Friday December 15, 2006 at St. Luke Baptist Church in Berryville, Virginia with the Rev. Charles Dekle, Pastor officiating.
Friends may call Thursday December 14, 2006 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA., and one hour before service at the church.
Family will receive friend Thursday evening 7 to 9 pm at the church.
Burial will be in Little Chapel Cemetery in Millwood, Virginia
Pallbearers will be Deacons of St. Luke Baptist Church
