Services were held at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, were she was a member. The Rev. Lucian Hayden officated and burial was at Maplelawn Cemetery. Her parents were Mr. Chris and Mrs. Lucinda Elliot Toon. Laura had 4 sisters; Mrs. Bonnie Buckman, Mrs. Minnie Carrico, Mrs. Maggie Hodge and Mrs. Bessie Hayden. Three brothers; Mr. Randall Toon, Mr. Harvey Toon and Mr. Raymond Toon also several nieces and nephews. Roth Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Maplelawn Cemetery.
