Services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Artie Virgie Hoxie, 87, who died Thursday morning in a local care center. Interment was in the Hunt Cemetery with Rev. Dale Durham officiating, and Kerrville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born May 1, 1895 in Antlers, Okla., and had lived in Kerrville for seven years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ross Merritt of Ingram, one grandson and two great grandchildren.
