Lifelong dump truck driver first for his father`s business then for his son, Bart. Never got tired of working and did so until the end.

PAUL E. BUNN, 72, of Ossian, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at his residence. Born May 12, 1936, in Fort Wayne, he was a truck driver for Bart Bunn Trucking. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley A. (McKay) Bunn of Ossian; children, Dennis L. (Jackie) Bunn of Ossian, Bonnie M. (Marshall) Springer of Ossian, Bart W. (Kaye) Bunn of Fort Wayne and Kelly J. Bruno of Ossian; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Gary (Becky) Bunn of Fort Wayne; and sister, Lorene Gump of North Webster. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence H. and Dorothy (Graham) Bunn; and four brothers, Robert, Dean, Jimmy and Ronnie. Service is 5 p.m. Tuesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals in Fort Wayne (Waynedale), with calling three hours prior to service. In honor of Paul Bunn and his love for people, memorials to Community Harvest Food Bank or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
