Arthur Boettcher, 68, of Blue Hill died Wednesday at Mary
Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Blue Hill with the Rev. Stanley Floth officiating.
Mr. Boettcher was a life-long resident of Blue Hill and was custodian at Blue Hill High School until his retirement. He was a
member of St. Paul's church and was a Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Violet; three sons, Arthur Jr. of Davenport, Alvin of Shickley and Gale of Blue Hill; a stepson, Wilbert Nienmeyer of Dodge City, Kan.; two brothers, Harold and Ervin, both of
Blue Hill; a sister, Evelyn Boettcher of Blue Hill, and nine grandchildren,
Friends may contribute to St. Paul's Church.
Burial, with military rites, will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery.
Merten-Butler Funeral Home at Blue Hill has charge of arrangements.
