Mrs. George M. (Katherine Anastasia) Zampikos, 81, of 1001 Ralston died Saturday March 9, 1985 in a local nursing home after a long illness.

She was a native of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and had lived in Corpus Christi since 1938. She and her husband George M. Zampikos had owned and operated several restaurants in Corpus Christi. She was a charter member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. She was past president of the Delphi Club.

Survivors include one son, Mitchell G. Zampikos of Southlake, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. A. J. Psimaris of Corpus Christi; one brother, Tillman Benderman of Mesa, Arizona, one sister, Mrs. Pearl Brown of Corpus Christi; two granddaughters, Mrs. Anthony (Viki) Zannaras of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Diana Zampikos of Southlake, Texas, one grandson, George M. (Mike) Zampikos of Laredo; four great-grandchildren.

A Trisagion service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday March 10, 1985 at Cage-Mills Downtown Chapel.

Funeral Sericaes will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 11, 1985 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church with Father Nicholas Pathenos officiating. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

In lieu of usual remembrances friends may make donations to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 502 South Chaparral, Coprus Christi, Texas 78401.
